My (totally new) backyard

Hey, have I ever mentioned I have THE COOL1EST DAD EVER !!!!!!!!!!!! No, I didn't think so! He is cool for many reasons. Reason 1, he's a FIREFIGHTER! The bad news is the dept. doesn't have enough firefighters, so he is gone a lot. Reason 2, he built 2 ZIP LINES : o!!! IN OUR SMALL BACKYARD! Unfortunately, my mom says I can't post pictures, for my safety, anymore, but that is subject to change, because mom says, I "might" be able to post pictures without me in it! So I will try to show u pictures, soon!
The 1st one connects to a hill and comes down to our clubhouse (In case your wondering, no my dad didn't built that). It has a little seat with a little seat belt!
The second one has a platform you jump off with a harness strapped to you. It goes from the trees to the clubhouse!
These zip lines are new, AND FUN! All my friends are soooo envious!  >:3 He He! I have to go now, I will write more tomorrow! bye . .
                                                             U

craftiness is definitely a good thing, especially if it involves food!

So, today was the second day of school, at it started out average, until lunchtime! So I was working on my complicated 6th grade math, and I decided it was time for a lunch break (I am home schooled). so I was heating up the oven to make Naan bread, (sorta like pita bread, but WAAAY better!) when it struck me... the best lunch idea EVER! Pita bread sandwiches! I made them. Ate them. Then made some more! They are soooo good! And almost allergen free! here is the recipe....

                                  KAY KAY'S PITA BREAD TACOS!

Pets, the social, loving family members of life!

As a kid, I find it very difficult to find the time to blog. Summer is officially over, and I am bouncing off the walls, for numerous reasons, but the best reason is Autumn! Autumn is the absolute, favorite, best-of-the-best season ever! All of the holidays, including me, and half of my families birthdays (yes, that also means my two pets, Snowflake the cat and Lucy, my lifelong friend, the dog).
I have decided to tell you something very personal, something even my mom doesn't know about it. I love animals. I want to grow up and adopt a lot of pets! But, recently, a PSA (aka, Public Service Announcement) informed me about all the sweet, loving animals who don't have homes, and they don't deserve to have to go through all that hardship. I did a little research on possible animal shelters that I can volunteer at, but I don't fit in the age range! I am 11 (12 in November) years old. I don't have a high allowance (5 dollars a week if I "qualify" in Mom's book) so I can't raise a banded gecko, the ideal pet in my book. I am so torn that there are so many animals out there who need help, and I can't do much but donate a couple pennies to shelters in California.
I wrote this blog to inspire those who read my blog, to volunteer at shelters near you, to donate as much as you can to animal shelters, or adopt a pet in need. I hope I can volunteer as soon as possible. Please, do it for the animals!
